Six Guantánamo detainees accused in the 20001 attacks will be shown all the evidence against them, the Pentagon said. The death penalty will be sought says the NYT.It's very rare that an article synopsis contains the lie that you usually have to dig for, such as, "Six Guantánamo detainees… will be shown all the evidence against them," as every sentient being on the planet KNOWS that the interrogations tapes, on which the government tortured confessions from these men, were destroyed to prevent future prosecutions of CIA, other interrogators and every other official involved from charges of committing war crimes.
Our government really does think we are so gullible and ignorant that they can put any propaganda they want in the papers and the public will believe it.
