More on Hayden

I know that the Sailor did an exemplary post on the whole Hayden thing, but I must had my 2 cents.

I personally feel like the whole military man as CIA man thing is a red herring. I also personally feel like the whole "Let's talk about Hadyden's connection to the NSA domestic spying thing" is a red herring as well.

I personally thing that the most important aspect of this whole thing is the moving of surviellance and black-ops actions, things usually within the purview of the CIA, being moved to the Pentagon is the REAL STORY and I've only read it one publication, The Sun of all places:
Excerpt: The pending appointment of General Michael Hayden as director of the Central Intelligence Agency will pave the way for the agency's emasculation and for the Pentagon to assume full authority over paramilitary operations.
The Voice of the White House, though not entirely reliable, was also interesting:
Excerpt: The SSB has been an effort by Rumsfeld to expand Pentagon intelligence operations at the expense of the CIA, which traditionally has conducted both clandestine and covert intelligence operations One of the more interesting sub-groups of the SSB is the one that keeps a close watch on members of Congress, now concentrating on ‘weak Republicans’ (read sensible Congressmen who are no longer supporting Bush and his loony followers.)
You have to now there's so much more going on than what's being discussed with Goss suddenly resigns, his number 3 resigns, rumors of both of them being implicated in more than one Hookergate are gaining ground and the guy chosen to replace Goss doesn't understand the Fourth Amendment AND has connections to the scandal du jour in DC.

It's GOT to be that Hayden is just being put in there so that the military (as in DoD) can take over.

The police state is here.
