Orwell lives.

I can't believe this.
Excerpt: Big Brother is not only watching you - now he's barking orders too. Britain's first 'talking' CCTV cameras have arrived, publicly berating bad behaviour and shaming offenders into acting more responsibly.

The system allows control room operators who spot any anti-social acts - from dropping litter to late-night brawls - to send out a verbal warning: 'We are watching you'.
I'm speechless.

Well first of all be very suspicious of anything in the Mail. It's a tabloid that some people seem to think is a real paper.

Other than that it's probably true. The CCTV cameras are ubiquitous. You do get used to them after a while.

Yeah, I know. Which is why Mr. Vidiot thinks it's good they're talking. At least, according to him, it breaks the reality a bit, making people aware that they're being watched, rather than just being oblivious to it.
