Now we are so scared we can't let someone SPEAK?
posted by Bill Arnett @ 10:44 AM PermalinkAll this brouhaha about allowing Ahmadinejad, Iran's president, to speak at Columbia disgusts me for this reason:
Are we now a nation of such cowards that we cannot allow someone or anyone to speak freely in America, even if we should disagree with or even despise the speaker? This question is being answered by all the media and political hype being foisted off on the country and our citizens, and I am afraid that the answer is "yes."
