But What About the [gasp!] Children!?

Bush sank to a new low today in the polls ... and in his rhetoric. In his press conference he rambled thru the usual histrionics of:
Al Qaeda will be emboldened!
9/11, 9/11, 9/11!
It's better to fight them there than here!
If we leave, they'll follow us home!

But then the threat level (from Bush) increased:
"I fully recognize that after 9/11, in the calm here at home, relatively speaking, caused some to say, well, maybe we're not at war." What freakin' calm? Bush attacked Afghanistan, Iraq and is supporting terrorist groups in Iran! There hasn't been any calm!

And then he added specific threats to the reporters' children today.
"It's a danger to your children, Jim."
"They are a threat to your children, David"

Frankly, Bush is a much bigger threat to our children than al Qaeda. And not just the 3,434+ of our children he's gotten killed in Iraq pursuing a war against a country that had no WMDs, no connection to 9/11, and no ability to attack the US. The staggering debt for this debacle will affect our children long after his children and their children have avoided military service.

There's the damage to the environment caused by his political appointees censoring science that will be killing our children for generations.

And finally, the damage to America's reputation as the shining beacon of hope, of freedom, of democracy to the world will last for untold generations.

My message to Bush is:
Dear Mr president Listen up a$$hole:
Al Qaeda did not exist in Iraq until you invaded.
Al Qaeda, or actually a loosely associated offshoot of Al Qaeda, are an incredibly small minority of the folks in Iraq who want to kill Americans.
Most of the Iraqis fighting in their civil war just want to kill Americans because they are in the way of achieving their political goals.

If we leave they'll kick AQ out.

Al Qaeda isn't our problem in Iraq, Bush is!
