I was watching Cspan and kept wondering why the camera kept panning to the wife of the governor of California during Caroline and Teddy Kennedy's speeches.
well, that's an easy one: Maria Shriver is a Kennedy.
anyway, from what I heard, I didn't watch, that the mood of the place was quite different than the cut-away shots would have you believe. A lot of the shots showed people talking or otherwise not being moved by Michelle Obama's speech. People who were there, however, said it was hard to find a dry eye in the place.
