Saying, basically, without newspapers, nobody will be watching government and exposing corruption... as IF they've done any of that for that last 20 years or so. (Or maybe much longer)Can anybody still think that newspapers have been doing their job as the fourth estate? Other than the guy who wrote the article? I mean really!
I say damn them. They're owned by corporations and therefore play the music the corporations want them to play. They support the status quo. They DO NOT challenge it.
