Some live bird flu just happened to get mixed up in a flu vaccine.

The company that released contaminated flu virus material from a plant in Austria confirmed Friday that the experimental product contained live H5N1 avian flu viruses.

Could it have been an accident or was it on purpose?

How could on Earth a virus as H5N1 come to the ordinary flu vaccines? Don’t they follow even basic precautions in the american pharma companies?” states the translation.

It has a 60% kill rate. Now, if it was on purpose, whomever put it in the vaccine that was being sent out for testing to make sure it was ok. Maybe they didn't know that bird flu kills ferrets (which is what alerted them to the problem.) If it was an accident, don't buy anything made by Baxter because they're a bunch of morons.
