Mommy don't worry now teddy boys here

I don't normally do this, but I haven't written anything, and we haven't written anything about Senator Ted Kennedy's passing here. So I'm going to cross post what SteveAudio wrote with my humble addition:

We've lost the one sure vote for health care reform in the Senate:
Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts, a son of one of the most storied families in American politics, a man who knew triumph and tragedy in near-equal measure and who will be remembered as one of the most effective lawmakers in the history of the Senate, died late Tuesday night. He was 77 .

Teddy wasn't perfect, clearly no one is. Yet he chose to leverage his family's wealth and position into a career of public service. And while he had many flaws and missteps, he had found his stride in recent years, being a champion of health care reform in the truest sense, so that the 46 million or more Americans with no access to health care might join in the American dream.

As usual, the far right Free Republic loves them some Liberal death:
Ted Kennedy is dead

This damn traitor lived far to long.

Mary Jo: “Hey Teddy. See this button? It has only one direction: DOWN! Step right in!”

It appears that as long as a murderer of millions of people is an American, he is “great.” The glowing tribute from George H.W. Bush is stomach-turning.

The death of Ted Kennedy is no more an occasion for mourning and tributes than the death of Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao.

There is no indication of repentance for his career of lies, murder, theft, and oppression.

His funeral will almost certainly take place at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Boston, from where Rose Kennedy was buried, unless for some reason the family desires a “state” funeral in Washington. In any case, the orgy will be broadcast, hundreds of pro-abortion Catholics will slither forward to receive Communion on camera. Archbishop Sean O’Malley will crouch in a linen closet for a week, until the funeral is over.

You get the idea. this is why bipartisan debate is impossible. As usual, the signal-to-noise ratio for the right-wing drops below intelligible levels.

Bastards.
Addendum by The Sailor:>"the signal-to-noise ratio for the right-wing drops below intelligible levels."

Interesting, but understandable, that SteveAudio would phrase it that way.

My current work is in processing noisy images acquired thru translucent membranes in the retina via slightly fluorescing parts of the retina. Each image is dark. But when I align them, register them, and average them, I can clearly see the pathology. It takes time and many samples.

I've applied the same algorithms to the republican reaction to Ted Kennedy's death.

Each image is dark, but after processing them the hate shines thru. Oddly enough I thought it was just noise too, turns out the signal is loud and clear.

Noise always cancels out over time, the same frequency just amplifies.

BTW, their 'facts' are always wrong, Kennedy's service won't be at St. Stephen’s, it will be at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. That's where he went to pray when his daughter, Kara, was undergoing treatment for lung cancer at Dana-Farber Hospital.

It's been said that TK was actually the one who most helped flood America's Southwest (now comprehensively spreading Northeast) with a 20-million surplus of SOTB (south-of-the-border) low-rent, no education, community-services-depleting, foriegn-flag-waving, economic-shock troop gang of sour-grapes wannabe conquistadors.

Simply because they are our "neighbor," it became chic for the rich old white folks of WDC to be soft on immigration crime ... especially since that's what corporate America really wanted anyway as a premier lever for assisting the act of union-busting.

You see, before Ted Kennedy, the U.S. Government's immigration focus was on managing the societal assimilation of Northern European types from across "The Pond." Now, this was generally good policy because the occasional low-rent Paddy who actually could wetback that circumstance really was few and far between.

As it is, all this would'a still been managable with our little browner brothers from down south if'n only the "anchor-baby" affliction had been more effectively dealt with by Congress, but as usual, Con-gress was more worried about pleasing corporate sponsors than representing the best interests of prevailing American citizens.

DanD,

I hope you wrote snark.

I usually appreciate your comments, and I respect that you and Bill have great conversations, which I've enjoyed, but I have to call you out on this one.

TK did not author any bill that allowed illegal aliens into this country. His point, in the bill, was that our 'little brown brothers', Asian & Hispanic & Indian, are as welcome in this country as are incredibly white brothers.

'Anchor babies', IOW people born in the US, have always been citizens according to our Constitution.

Please say I'm wrong in my estimation of your character and this was a joke I didn't get.

Well,

I was channeling S. Palin perhaps just a little bit.

But if I were to produce a 100% legitimate criticism against the last of the Camelot crew, I'd lambast him to hell for his wholly guileless, 200% support for the world's most criminal genocide regime, and I mean "Israel" (TM, Zionland Inc.).

As far as I can assess it, TK bathed in the blood of Palestinian children every fuckin' night, as from the moment when Teddy started sponsoring taxpayer cash to that cancerous cabal of vicious ethnic cleansers. Even as Balfour was puppeteered decades before he was born (back when the proposal of Zionland was officially aborted into this world by way of a warcrime conspiracy), the harm that TK has done with his Constitutionally faithless support has harmed America enormously.

I really did, however, like TK's brothers. But after Chappaquiddick, AIPAC gained access to information to buy out that boy's soul. So, if I don't genuflect enough when hearing that particular politician's name, sorry, but I'm just not into protecting the reputations of the friends of religiously evil, global war-crime racketeers.

When it comes to politicians, I don't just judge them by what good they may do, I also balance it out with whatever evil they help sponsor, either through direct endorsement, or a lack of opposition. Particularly because of his unwaivering support for Zionland, Washington D.C. is now -- wholly -- Zionist occupied territory.
