CLIMATEGATE by Mike Rivero

posted by The Vidiot @ 10:40 PM Permalink

I'm posting his whole comment from his letters page because the page gets updated everyday and well, it's just too good to disappear:
I am putting the emphasis on Climategate because it goes right to the heart of the Hydra. Before us stands exposed the greatest government conspiracy of modern time, and clear proof that the corporate media was totally complicit in the deceptions. People HAVE to get angry at this. If they don't; if the people just turn back to their TV sets and decide paying another $5000 year in higher prices and taxes is preferable to standing up for their rights, then this nation is truly lost and the American people will have to repeat the experience of the Germans when Hitler fell before they admit to themselves just how wrong badly they were used and abused by the government they trusted. CLIMATEGATE is the biggest story of the century, even eclipsing Saddam's Nookular Bombs. If you are not in a rage over what has been going on, there is something wrong with you. Look how obvious the campaign of lies is! Now, what else is the government and media lying to you about? Everything? Maybe. How do you know they are not? How can you know that the entire illusion of what you think the world is isn't just a contrived propaganda illusion to keep you docile and obedient?

There is no more important story right now. CLIMATEGATE is more more about the climate than Watergate was about water. It's just a handful for a conspiracy that reaches to the highest levels of US and world government. If CRU is the Pentagon of climate research, then the leaked emails are the Pentagon Papers.

As for the rant ...

Folks, I have heard Climategate described as the greatest science scandal of all time. It is that and much more. It is also the greatest political scandal of all time because the agenda was not scientific but political; to trick the entire world into accepting the yoke of global government and global taxation.

In other words Climategate (and Swine-11 and the financial crash) were created to enslave the entire human race. It is a monstrous conspiracy that involved the US Government, corrupted scientists, and the corporate media, all led by the United Nations' IPCC.

As such, I disagree with those who say that Climategate is a scan, or a fraud, or even treason. It is so very much more than that. Climategate is a crime against the entire planet. It is a crime against humanity. It is the greatest crime in history and its conspirators deserve the greatest punishment in history.

In standing up to be counted with the global warming fraudsters, Obama's Climate Czar, who owes her position and paycheck to the manufactured fraud of human-caused global warming, has proven to America that this government is an enemy of the people, willing to sell us all into global bondage for the sake of power and thirty pieces of silver.

Climate Czar Carol Browner is not an elected official. She is a proven liar because she supports a proven hoax that evinces a design to reduce all humans under an absolute global despotism and taxation from which there will be no recourse and no escape. I do not recognize her authority over me, and certainly have no respect for her absence of scientific awareness in this matter.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. -- The Declaration of Independence

Oh fer gawd's sake, you really want to go with Mike Rivero!?

Sheesh, he's Glen Beck w/o the audience. He's a loon!

Next time try quoting climatologists instead of conspiracy aficionados.

IRT climate change: Retreating ice shelves, thinnest arctic ice, giant oxy depletion zones, flooded South Pacific islands, &c, &c, &c.

Like another POV is going to hurt anybody?

He's right, this is not just a problem with the science, this is a problem of policy shaping the science. That's a VERY big deal.

Here' MY POV: Whatever the government tells you is the truth, is a lie. Period. End of discussion.

Okay Sailor;

Now, I have my own reasons for distrusting what Rivero ultimately endorses, But tell me, exactly what do you identify as so loon-ish about what he posts?

In other words, what has he done that is so accurately "Glen Beckish?"

So far Sailor, you've only committed ad-hominim character-assassination. How about some walk behind that talk?

Specific examples please, without an excess of editorializing. After all, ANYTHING Glen Beckish really should be quite obvious.

Frankly, that's the same language that was used to describe Ron Paul and honestly? He was the only candidate who made any goddamn sense.

Like with Rivero, I didn't agree with everything Paul said, but a whole helluvalot of it should've been discussed instead of what WAS discussed, which was complete and utter bullshit.

Rivero:"The recent exposures of fraud coming from the Hadley Climate Research Unit, then followed by similar exposures at New Zealand's NWIA, Australia's climate center, and NOAA have only confirmed the doubts arising from the obviously NON-scientific methods employed by the Anthropogenic Global Warming supporters, hereinafter called the "Global Warming Cult"."

This over the top hyperbole is designed, just like his other crazy conspiracy theories, is designed to inflame passions, not convey knowledge.

He wouldn't understand the scientific method if it bit him on the ass, instead he choose to libel people when there is no proof whatsoever any fraud was committed. Cherry picking a few statements out private emails of all the confirmations of climate that has been performed by scientists around the world as proof that it's not happening is absurd.

If one wanted to show a conspiracy, I would suggest the careful timing of the release of these cherry picked statements would indicate collusion by current energy companies, they stand the most to profit by not being regulated.

then regulate the piss out of the companies and forbid them to pass the cost onto their customers and LEAVE THE PEOPLE ALONE.

Then i'd be fine with it.

So Sailor;

Are you saying that "over-the-top hyperbole" can never be accurate? Oh yeah, I guess its whatever you call hyperbole ... like calling somebody a "loon" ... I didn't know Rivero was a cross-species mutant!

(The Sailor proclaims) "He wouldn't understand the scientific method if it bit him on the ass, instead he choose to libel people when there is no proof whatsoever any fraud was committed. Cherry picking a few statements out private emails of all the confirmations of climate that has been performed by scientists around the world as proof that it's not happening is absurd."

Sailor, he is a scientist. He worked with NASA at one time. I mean, do you have some secret information about Rivero PROVING that he's a tin-plated fraud? PLEASE, provide it, because the only thing you've supplied so far is name calling and generic allegations.

So you say that he's "cherry-picking" scientific quotations ... and you're not?

Tell me, exactly who has he libelled or otherwise committed fraud against? Hey, come on! Give some real-time examples! You sound more like a Zionist slinging around that ole-time religious "anti-Semitism" slander.

While Rivero is extremely opinionated on certain subjects and -- in my opinion -- is a first-class "Gatekeeper" in his own right, This is pretty-much what ALL pundits are doing now-a-days.

And as far as trying to paint him crazy with the time-proven "Conspiracy Theorist" canard, human kind is a conspiracy species. Just 'cause ANYBODY claims something is a conspiracy don't particularly mean that its either true or false. What are the details?

I have followed Rivero's site for about a decade now. I'm a smart guy, I do believe in the scientific method, I don't believe in any gods, and I'm an extremely good general mechanic who fixed aircaft while I was in the Air Force.

While Rivero will sometimes use hyperbole, sometimes, hyperbole is the only thing adequate to describe a situation ... say like Saddam's nucular bombs or even Zionism's religiously defined Shoah.

When functionally claiming that someone is a liar without providing any definitive proof, THAT is (for the most part unacceptable) hypebole.

What game are you playing?

Some of us have learned, been taught, or are just natural liars with skills innately developed to a point beyond the imagination of most, if not all from time to time.

I made my mea culpa in a new post above, so I'll leave you to judge. I still am easily capable of scaring the shit out of myself and convincing anyone of almost anything. I religiously (funny term for an atheist) avoid going back to bounty hunting for that reason.

Ciao.

DanD - "So you say that he's "cherry-picking" scientific quotations ... and you're not?"

he didn't cherry pick scientific quotations, he cherry picked personal correspondence between scientists. Big difference.

Everything on his site is a conspiracy theory. It covers many different fields, he can't be an expert in all of them.

He makes his money, like Beck, by making outrageous claims on the radio & web.

INAL, but yes, his use of 'fraud' and 'cult' makes him liable for libel.

I would have written a post about this, and been more circumspect in my initial comment, but we're very busy in my lab right now getting ready for a -gasp!- Scientific Meeting (you know, where we all stand around drinking cocktails and wonder how next to hoodwink the world.)

When I have more time I'll provide links to folks who are better at it than me refuting climategate.

But seriously; We start with a hypothesis, we collect data, we analyze the data, we present it whether it proves our point or not. Other scientists know our methods, have access to our data, can gather their own data, and refute or confirm our conclusions.

I don't consider this the gov't lying to us, I consider it scientists all around the world trying to warn us.

BTW, I'm an A&P tech by training, and a sailor & SEL pilot by avocation.

Michael Rivero is a computer scientist. He has worked at NASA as a video-imaging specialist.

From above: (you know, where we all stand around drinking cocktails and wonder how next to hoodwink the world.)

Actually, that's what's wrong with all the Earth's "Goldfinger" types ... now if'n ya'll just smoked herb while at a stoner's party everybody would just forget why they wanted to hoodwink the world.

One thing done by Rivero that I appreciate very much is that he showcases more probable "conspiracy theories" to those many more government sponsored ones that really are crocks of shit ... i.e. the World Trade Center implosions.

You do realize that Saddam having nuclear weapons was a rather transparently false (and most completely debunked) government conspiracy theory, don't you?

And EVERYBODY'S cherry's been busted now that we know that even FDR chose to allow thousands of sailors to be slaughtered at Pearl Harbor just so he could maintain a righteous excuse to get his own more personal World War on. Yup, he chose to be a lyin' sack of shit by not telling his field commanders that the Jap navy was sailin' down the pipe. Of course, the history books still tell it the Hollywood way.

It seems to me that "Climate-Gate" is a back-door view of a scientific endeavor that has put political goals ahead of a need to dispassionately consider more substancial facts and affects.

Also from my point of view, as long as the fact of global atmospheric oxygen depletion doesn't even make it on the "scientific" agenda of what I would rather describe as climate-disruption, I feel that all you "Masters-of-Science" types are just intentionally misdirecting everybody's attention away from what the real agenda is for the world's more secretive insider elite.

Conspiracy? Yup, that's what it appears to be ... but that's just me.

Exactly. Additionally, here we discussing the veracity of Mr. Rivero without actually discussing what the issue is: Climategate.

Which is what THEY want. Moowha-ha-ha-ha-ha.

I will not discuss 'climategate' IRT Rivero anymore than I would discuss creationism.

science/not science. No discussion.
