This is a provocative posting which I assume is the reason for the simplicity of it but am sure your readers would be interested in the details. Were you contagious? Were they unable to admit any more patients for some reason? Hope you're feeling better by now, in spite of their seeming disregard for your care.
No, DanD, it was in Martinez and to be fair I was there for an appointment with the therapist helping me deal with my mental health issues
The minute I started talking to her she asked me if I had been feeling sick, which I had, so she told me that all the staff throughout the hospital had been ordered to literally tell the patient to leave, go home, and call for an appointment to see their doctor, which I did.
Thank you for your concern, Anonymous.
I could just as easily walked down the hallway 50 feet to the primary care desk, or the health care nurse, but she told me quite directly that anyone exhibiting flu system was to be TOLD emphatically to leave immediately and call back for an appointment and escorted me from the building.
So I made my appointment as instructed and will see my primary card doctor Monday at 4 p.m.
The irony was just way too rich to let it pass without comment.
1.(sometimes capital letters 'V' and 'S' with no space) a style of writing or saying something using emotion and/or logic and snark, esp. in order to elucidate the obvious while pretending to be objective.
2. anything written by The Vidiot, The Sailor, Mr. Vidiot and anyone else they allow to post on the blog “vidiotspeak”
[Origin: loosely based on new + speak, coined by George Orwell in his novel, 1984 (1949)]
