When I wrote the satirical post below this one [second post below this one, starting with Rethugs, etc. Bill] I was jokingly trying to point out that Republicans would universally condemn Al Gore, continue spreading falsehoods about the "controversial science", falsely claiming there is no consensus among scientists regarding the subject of global warming, and in general, doing the only thing at which the GOP has been proven capable of doing well: attacking the - OH, MY GOD - Democrat receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, continuously repeating the lies that have been debunked long ago and very often, and generally poisoning the atmosphere with all the vitriol and venom they can summon in order to diminish and damage the reputation of the recipient of such a prestigious award simply because Gore is being feted for an issue on which the GOP cannot win because their Corporate Masters won't allow any Rethug leader to acknowledge that any Democrat could possibly be right and the Rethugs could not possibly be wrong about global warming. [How's THAT for a run-on sentence? Bill]

But wow!, even I underestimated the hatred, jealously, envy, and anger of the Compassionate Conservatives who have never sought to "conserve" anything but their political power. One talking head after another has been coming forth on CNN to bash Gore, deny global warming, and generally accusing Gore of kidnapping the Lindbergh baby, running the concentration camps of WWII, committing genocide in Darfur, and corrupting the minds and lives of Young Republicans who may never recover from having heard the truth according to a consensus of over 2,500 expert scientists who, after years of collecting, studying, and analyzing hard data to reach the consensus conclusion that global warming is real, man is the single greatest source responsible for g.w., and that this problem threatens the very survival of our species.

It's becoming very clear that not only are Republicans incapable of governing, they are incapable of recognizing a problem obvious to the rest of the world, and that their leadership would lead this country into a new Dark Age rather than learn anything from a Democratic standard bearer like Al Gore.

The lies from all these rethug talking heads and biased news readers are coming so fast and furious it would be unbelievable coming from any other group or political party. I love it.

Like I've said before, it's ever so much fun watching the GOP self-destruct, relegate itself into obscurity, and destroy their own party by assuming these untrue, misleading, propagandist stances to comply with the orders of their "big business" constituency.

Anyone with anything resembling intelligence will be regaling everyone with laughter at the foolish gyrations and twisted lies of a political party that is not capable of anything but spouting hatred, fear, warmongering, and disinformation.
