And now for something completely useless...

Several dozen people -- including a pilot, county constable and business owners -- say they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.Now, my favorite part of the article is not that they saw a UFO, or even how ineptly the "officials" try to dismiss what was seen, but rather, it's the fact that the writer sort of goes out of their way to point out that the folks who saw it weren't moonshine-running hillbillies. They were responsible citizens like a "pilot, county constable and business owners". Does being a business owner really help with the credibility? Really? Aren't perceptions funny? So, I guess that explains why Giuliani is still perceived as being a viable candidate? Same goes for Uncle Fred?
Alright, it's a stretch, but I just saw a clip from the last GOP debate and both Giuliani and Uncle Fred said some really dumb, insipid, and frankly, to a Muslim, culturally insulting stuff and I just don't understand why they're even considered viable candidates. Same goes for McCain. The man seems bat-shit insane, and I don't mean in a Karl Rove push-polling sort of way. But really, honest-to-God insane.
Why don't a mention the dems much? They're not as much fun to make fun of, that's why.
