See this from NYT where he pontificates:
There’s a big difference between the Republican and Democratic campaigns: The Republicans have split on policy grounds; the Democrats haven’t. There’s been a Republican divide between center and right, yet no Democratic divide between center and left.R-i-i-i-g-g-g-h-h-h-t. This is the guy to write a really objective analysis of what a democratic administration would be like.
But when you think about it, the Democratic policy unity is a mirage. If the Democrats actually win the White House, the tensions would resurface with a vengeance.
Sure. OK. It's like asking the Marquis de Sade to comment on the benefits of torture. He would be sure to condemn it while applying the lash to some hapless soul.
