It's like nailing Al Capone for tax evasion.

But hey, whatever works.

The verdict, which was read late Friday after 13 hours of deliberations, came 13 years to the day after Mr. Simpson was acquitted in the highly publicized murders of his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald L. Goldman.

I'm really not interested in celebrity trials, but is this a coincidence ("13 years to the day")?

Yes, and to a true conspiratorialist, 13 is a significant Illuminati number! ;)

I really don't care about OJ or any other 'celebrity' trial.

But I would like to mention that the LAPD planted evidence and the DAs suborned perjury during his original trial.

That is "reasonable doubt" and enough to acquit.

The cops and DAs broke the law. If they'd played it straight it might have turned out differently.
