This reminds me of Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon where, while educating a student, pointed to the sky and told the student to look up. He noticed immediately that the student was looking at his finger so, after gently slapping the student on the back of the head, he said, "Do not look at the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory."
