Happiness is a warm gun

You've probably heard by now that the rightwing, christain, anti-semite James vonn Brunn gunned down a security guard at the Holocaust Museum.

I don't know whether it's an actual conspiracy of the rightwing extremists or just a virtual conspiracy, but the exact same thing that the DHS was warning about rightwing extremist groups and their terrorism is coming to pass. (That's the report that the republicans were so up in arms about.)

And the terrorism, according to the rightwing extremists own words, is going to escalate.

Here's a rundown:

Hmmm;

So now the gun-grabbers cabal will be going full tilt ... "not only do 'we (you know, that federal government that feels so VULNERABLE about the prospect of confronting an armed population while its actively in the conclusive process of making the Constitution just another goddam piece of paper)' need to disarm all the liberals, but we also must disarm the paleo-Republican side of the isle as well" ... so if it is in fact a "conspiracy (and EVERYTHING having to do with human civilization is basically conspiratorial)" do you really think that the perp chosen to murder the good doctor would have found it too difficult to obtain a weapon of assassination? If he hadn't had the convenience of a gun, well then, he could'a simply borrowed Maxwell's silver hammer and just punched a hole in the physician's head at closer range ... at church, you really don't pay attention to who's 13 inches behind you.

Basically, in a freely armed society, nobody's absolutely or unconditionally safe -- contrawise, in a disarmed society, absolutely nobody's free. Not even an ologarchy's individual members. Majority-cloaked tyranny is absolute.

The choice is still ours to make.
