Look, here's the deal:
The power elite need a nice and shiny character as their face man on the world stage. They need someone the people love who will be able to tell the people the bad news -- that there will be marshal law, that you will have to take that vaccine, that the country is broke and we're joining with the currencies of other countries, etc. and so forth. The only person on the planet who had a world-wide branding effort that made him a household name, fairly free of any baggage (didn't you ever wonder why a guy with almost no experience in government and politics 'won' the (s)election?), and young enough to be around for a while is Barack Obama.
Giving him the Nobel Peace prize is throwing polish on a turd. Now, watch for the media to manufacture and maintain the reality that he is a man of peace. Watch how they buff that narrative into bright and sparkly sheen!

Obama has started talks with Iranians about their nuclear program.
Obama has let Israel know that new settlements in Palestine are not OK.
Obama has restructured the 'missile shield' so that the Russians don't feel threatened.
Obama has made the USA a leader in world peace, from a poll of the world. Up from seventh.
Obama has stopped the CIA's black sites and wants to close Gitmo, if only congress would cooperate.
So maybe, just maybe, he was awarded the Nobel because he's significantly better than bush.

Hell, with or without a Peace Prize, Idi Amin woulda' been better than Bush.
As it is, everything that Obama has ever said to the Iranians has been finely strained through a Zionist filter. It seems that nobody -- even in that most progressive administration of Obama's -- wants to admit that Iran has broken no AEIE rules!
On the other hand, the only truest nuclear threat in the entire world (besides America) is that war-crimes rogue NPT non-signee, Zionland (also self-named Israel).
As it is, yeah, the Zionlanders have allowed Obama to express a "stern" opinion about Zionland's ongoing and expansive war crimes ... it makes him look real butch just before he personally hand-delivers yet another 10-billion-dollar plus "no-strings-attached" forcibly collected gift of American taxpayer cash.
Obama's the real thing alright ... But it's more like Bush in Brown-face.
Ya-see, Obama is at least half Caucasian, and it's that real mean cracker side of him that I really don't trust.

Adolf Hitler was a better person than bush!

Any leader ever convicted of war crimes is better than bush!
That doesn't necessarily mean Obama should have won, but when couched in such a loaded question ANYONE, ANYWHERE, AT ANY TIME is a better person than bush could ever dream of being!

While I considerably empathize with your reasoning, the contrasting difference between my example is:
GWBush was/is just a lowlife puppet; Kissenger is still a puppetmaster.
Furthermore, I think while Obama also has pretensions of either being, or perhaps becoming, a high-level puppetmaster ... just like in most Hollywood action flicks where the black guy almost always ends up gettin' hammered, I can't see Obama getting out of this shoot-em up drama either with his skin still attached.
He's got no Skull-n-Bones protection.

I really don't like equating Bush with that particular sphinster outlet. Why? Well, assholes are very utilitarian. Assholes are actually critically necessary in getting rid of a body's collected poisons. Assholes are actually our friends. Kinda' like Libertarians, they just get real bad press.
Instead, I prefer to think of GWB as a colostomy bag.
