posted by Bill Arnett @ 1:20 PM Permalink …the Constitution, when he was actually misquoting the Declaration of Independence, that apparently NO ONE noticed that even his version changed and substituted "our Creator" when the actual quote is:We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.I have heard this misquoted more times than I can count.
I am certain this was an acknowledgement by the writers that different people might believe in a different Creator than they.
Sucking down too many cigars must cause brain damage. At least in Rush's case.
