Too little, too late

Stupid New York Times. They supported the war. They supported this administration. They did NOTHING to stop it EVER. And now, all of a sudden, they write a 1,700 word editorial denouncing the war and they think that makes it all better? I don't think so.
Excerpt: President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney have used demagoguery and fear to quell Americans’ demands for an end to this war. They say withdrawing will create bloodshed and chaos and encourage terrorists. Actually, all of that has already happened — the result of this unnecessary invasion and the incompetent management of this war.
They are as complicit in the debacle as the administration is. They allowed Judith Miller to write her lies. They didn't challenge this administration on ANY level. Not only that, the editorial doesn't even talk about the high crimes committed by this administration in the lead-up to and conduct during the war.

It's a pathetic attempt at trying to regain some credibility. It is NOT a watershed moment.
Excerpt: At a critical moment, with Republicans in Congress starting to abandon President Bush on Iraq, The New York Times for its Sunday edition has published what may one day be viewed as a historic editorial.
They should all be ashamed of themselves.

I just cannot stand to read the NYT anymore ("All the News Republicans Tell Us to Print"), or the WaPo ("We're Not the NYT So We Don't Even Pretend to Be Fair").

Their reporting sucks, they lie like hell for bush, and they stopped honest reporting right about the time bush came into office.

If they weren't getting a share of the $2.9 Billion dollars bush spends for propaganda I thinkm they would both be out of print by now.
