Who do they work for again?

I know, you get tired of me going on and on about how the dems and the repubs are really just two sides of the same coin. But when they do something that so obviously illustrates this point, well, how can anyone say I'm wrong?

Despite complaints that banks and credit card companies are gouging customers by charging outrageous interest rates, the Senate on Wednesday easily turned back an effort to cap interest rates at 15 percent.

Ask any person on the street NOT tied to the credit card banking industry, and you'll get 100% agreement that the credit card companies are little more than loan sharks and should be reigned in. 100%. I'm sure of it. But who do your 'selected' representatives listen to? The people who pour millions of dollars into their coffers, that's who.

What does that tell you? That tells you the same thing that I've been telling you -- there's no difference between the two parties, that neither one of the parties represents actual people, and that the entire government and all its participants are the enablers of the corporate mandate to maximize profit at the expense of all else.

So why participate in the farce?
