You know all those 'end of the world' movies,

(That ain't no highway.)

you know, the ones where there are 'signs' that point to the apocalypse, seals are broken, bible references are made, those sorts of movies.

When you're watching them, you're like, "Yeah, that's definitely a sign. Can't ignore that. It's so obvious." And it all makes perfect sense so when, in the movie, it's the end of the world, you like TOTALLY saw it coming.

Well, this, frankly, makes me want to head for the hills... not that anybody will be any safer in the hills, mind you.

At first glimpse, it looks like the devastating effects of an environmental disaster - thousands upon thousands of dead fish choking a waterway.Coupled with the fact that the gruesome discovery was made in the Bayou Chaland on the coast near New Orleans - an area affected by the notorious BP oil spill - initial reports understandably put two and two together.
Yeah, that picture up there is dead fish. A LOT of dead fish. Yikes.
